AGC Student Chapter Community Service
Our greatest attribute as an AGC-Student Chapter is our great service in and around the Ames community. Not only do we take it national with our Spring Break trip to Mississippi, but we do hundreds of hours of community service right here in our area. Projects are always different and we love the challenge. There is no better feeling in the world than seeing your hardwork be put to good use to the people of the community and put smiles on their faces.
This year was no exception. Landon Streit was our Senior Rep. in charge of finding, organizing, and in his case, working all of the different projects in the community. He pretty much had his own construction company over the past 9 months. He will be a very big reason we will bring home the 4-peat. But there is definitely no way any of this would be possible without the help of our members. As Landon stated at the banquet, there was not one time where he had to worry about help. We really pulled through. And for that, we thank you all.
