2008 AGC Spring Break - Katrina Relief
The ISU AGC Chapter has made the trip to Mississippi for the last 3 years to devote our Sring Break time to helping out those in need in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. This year was the largest turnout yet. 44 students amassed 2,750 hours of community service on a wide variety of projects.
Pictured below is the most memorable. This is the house of the Bufkin family that members of AGC transfromed from a wood frame to a fully dried-in home.

This is just one of the many great things we accomplished. We have become household names in that area. Everyone knows when the Iowa boys and girls come to town. They call it a blessing. We call it just another day's work.
"Its good to know that there are still good people in the world."
