- 150 yr anniversary theme
- Due in Des Moines November 18th
- Laser cut ‘icicle’ ornaments were chosen
- Help design a plate- the information is below!
- The file or files are due by next Tuesday at our meeting. They may be e-mailed to sarahalv@iastate.edu or submitted by CD.
- Here are the file specifications:
- Please have your design be under 3"x3"
- The objects on your page must be discrete objects. Anything you wish to cut should be a closed shape. For example, if using
Illustrator, do not use objects to hide parts of objects you do not
wish to cut. You will also need to check that you do not have any doubled lines. - The cutter uses color and line-weight to determine which lines to cut, and which to engrave.
- Cut lines:
- 100% Red
- lineweight = 0.01 pts
- Engrave:
- Black
- Minimum of 1pt for lines to be engraved
- Objects to be engraved must not be grouped
- Cut lines:
- Bring your final file on CD or e-mail the file to sarahalv@iastate.edu
- Other Requirements: Make sure your image is contained in a shape. Possible ideas are: snowflakes, circles, squares, etc.
Leave an area for a hole to be drilled in the top so the ornament can be hung by wire.

Description:
Anyone who would like to become a member, please bring $10 to our next
meeting or email sarahalv@iastate.edu to set up a time to turn in
your membership dues. (These dues cover food that we have at meetings
and help support any outside activities we choose to do. There may be
extra fees for certain workshops, however, these are not required.)
