The ISU Steel Bridge Team is proud to be one of the few schools where the students design and fabricate the bridge completely by themselves. During the fall semester, the team spends time in the lab learning how to use all of the tools and equipment. The returning members teach the new members how to correctly cut, grind, and weld. Since all students know how to use the tools everyone is able to help with the fabrication.

In March 2009, the team will travel to North Dakota State University to compete in the regional competition. The national competition will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are looking forward to competing with this year's bridge.
