Come Dance with Us
Want to stay healthy and fit while having fun too?… or want to meet someone? Would you like to swirl across the dance floor in waltz or shake it in salsa? Do you have a wedding to attend, and you want to impress your friends with your dancing skills?
Then you're in the right place! The ISU Ballroom Dance Club offers evening classes for both students and non-students alike, as well as a Friday-night social/practice to meet people. The Club also hosts guest instruction on Xtra Moves Nights, and special dances and parties for holidays such as Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day.
Our classes are taught by experienced instructors as well as accomplished dancers. The classes offer instruction for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels for swing, waltz, tango, foxtrot, and several Latin dances (cha cha, merengue, salsa, rumba, samba).
Fall and spring semester classes are held Tuesday and Friday evenings. For beginners, your first lesson is free to try! Don't have a partner? You can find one at the lesson and meet lots of upbeat people.
In addition, the free Friday-night social welcomes students, faculty, staff, and community members of all ages and skills.
