Submission Guidelines

Sketch is now taking submissions in the following categories:

Poetry
Fiction
Non-fiction
Visual Art
All Iowa State students, regardless of year or major, are welcome to submit!

Submission deadline for the Fall 2004 issue is Nov 12, before 5:00 P.M. Please hand deliver or send via campus mail to 206 Ross.

Submission Guidelines

Submitted works must be previously unpublished.
Multiple submissions are welcome!
Each submission must have a separate cover page, which will include: Contributor's name, mailing address, e-mail address, year and major, title of the submission, and category (poetry, fiction, non-fiction, or visual arts.) Please do not put contributor's name on the work itself.

Writers: Please submit a hard copy of your work. Please number all pages of work as follows: 1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc... Revisions will be suggested for selected works.

Artists: Submit scanned images, photos, slides, or a photocopy. Include title of the work, medium, and original size dimensions.

If you would like your submissions returned to you, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Please allow several weeks after the submission deadline for publication decisions to be made. Contributors will be notified of publication selections via e-mail.

*Submissions that do not meet the guidelines may not be considered for publication
