Go is a fascinating board game that originated in China more than 4,000 years ago. Also known as baduk, wei ch'i, weiqi, and igo, it is played today by millions of people, including thousands in the United States . In Japan , Korea , China , and Taiwan , it is far more popular than chess is in the West and its popularity in this country continues to grow.

The Cyclone Go Club promotes the game of Go in Iowa State University and provides learning resources to everyone interested in the game of GO.

Welcome to ISU Go Players!!!!!


Where: Cyclone Go Club meets in the Jischke Honors Building at ISU (map).

When: Saturdays 12PM (Noon).
Whom: Everyone is welcome to join the Cyclone Go Club , from absolute beginners to pro-players.  If you have now, or if you ever had an interest in the game of Go, come join us.

Thursday's Meeting: We meet with the Des Moines Go Club at Caribou Coffee on Thursdays from 6PM up.
