AGA Rated Tournaments: The purpose of the tournaments is twofold, (1) to help you improve by having the chance to play serious games (non-club) more often, and (2) to give the Des Moines club players a good excuse to come up to Ames. Because we have many events planned for this semester we will only have 2 rated tournaments. Dates: Saturday October
18 and November 15 First and Second place is determine by number of games played. Fall'08 Results

Cyclone Go Workshops: This semester we are specially exited because our own Kyle Blocher just came back from training in China. Kyle will be pouring all his new found wisdom in a one-day seminar. The seminar will be the day before the All-Iowa Tournament and will be split in two parts, a morning lecture and an afternoon play/review.
