Do you like horses? No horse experience? No problem! The Equestrian Club is for anyone who wants to do horse-related activities, have a chance to ride casually or on the team, learn more about the animal we love, and make great friends in the process!
Club Meetings are held in Science 1 (room 152), Thursdays at 6pm.

The next show is the MSU Stock Show on March 7-8. Wish our stock team members luck!

There is another show at NIU on March 27. This is also the weekend of Regionals. Congratulations qualifiers!
On April 4, we will be attending the Iowa Horse Fair. Your admission is free if you volunteer at the Kidz Fun Area. We will be volunteering in 2 hour shifts of 2-3 people. We plan to get there around 10 am, and then at 7 pm there is the Barrels and Bulls event, which will cost extra, but for those volunteering, its not a bad deal. Contact Jenna by this Sunday (9 pm) if you are interested.
The club attended a tour of the new Equine facilities at Vet Med and a colic presentation by Dr. Caston on February 26. Hope everyone had fun!
The club made big bucks at the Hilton cleanup on February 25. Thanks to everyone who helped, including our non-club helpers.
The club's budget was accepted at the budget meeting on February 21.
A few members in the club attended the Equine Nutritionist presentation with Pre-Vet Club on February 18. Thank you Purina!
