About the ISU OCF

Welcome to the ISU OCF!

Christ is in our midst!

This is the Web page of the Iowa State University chapter of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF). In recent years, Orthodox Christians living in Ames, Iowa have come together on occasions to worship. In that spirit, the ISU OCF was recently founded by a group of ISU students in October, 2004, and its membership has grown since then. The ISU OCF welcomes Orthodox Christian students, faculty members, employees and Ames-area residents to come and join us in prayer, worship and Christian inquiry.

The ISU OCF is an eclectic group, made up of Orthodox Christians, (and inquirers into Orthodox Christianity), from all backgrounds, jurisdictions and nationalities. Our membership includes Orthodox Christians from Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Russia, the Republic of Georgia, as well as several from the United States.
