The ISU Judo Club practices a competitive Japanese martial art under the primary guidance of Master Yong Chin Pak. Judo, as formally described by Dr. Jigoro Kano in 1882, involves grappling, throws, and submissions. In addition to providing a great workout, Judo emphasizes character improvement, self-confidence, and respect for others. There are opportunities to compete at regional and national levels, to expand martial arts knowledge, and to make lifelong friends.
