Scholarship is another very important aspect
here at Kappa Kappa Gamma. Last semester, the Delta Omicron
chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma achieved an average house GPA of 3.23.
This is above the All Sorority, All Greek, and All Undergrad averages.
It also makes the Kappas 2nd in grades! Congratulations Kappas!
To help keep our morale up for studying (which we all love to do) we offer little incentives. One of these is Cookies for Kappas. Whenever a member receives an "A" in a class, for a test, project, or paper, she puts her name in for a cookie, which are handed out at chapter. Any Kappa who has attended all her classes during the week, gets to put her name in a "no-skip" jar that's passed around at chapter. One name is drawn, and she gets a "treat," which can be candy, a t-shirt, or a little kappa gift. We also have a gift for the women who do not skip class all semester and for the pledge class who skips the least. Also to keep the incentive to study we began a traveling cookie monster. The cookie monster is awarded to the Kappa that is being the most studious from the previous week.
