Here are the minutes for February 4, 2008. *Upcoming Events* Silo Ice Climbing - February 16 - All skill levels, all special equipment provided - Limited to 70, so sign up! UNI Rock Revolution Climbing Comp - February 23 - All skills - Get a t-shirt - $25 preregistration, $30 on the day - If you are planning on going, certain paperwork needs to be filled out! Contact Adam at schill06@iastate.edu *2007 Photo Album* - Send us your pictures - Highest resolution for printing - Please send ONLY the best *Ideas for Spring/Next Year* - ISUMCC Climbing Competition - Wall-Nut thinking of getting/making some portable boulders... - VEISHEA activity? Not until April - Spring bake sale with mini-bouldering wall or slack line, Central Campus Next year we would like a Social Chair, and we would love to see some more underclassmen get involved! We need people committed to going to the Spring Break trip! If you are planning on it, we need to know for allocations, which are first come, first serve. - Location about a half hour from Frisco, CO - High country is going to be like winter conditions - Some great ridges and mountains up there, i.e. Mount Quandary, great skiing - If you are interested, we need to know if you are comfortable with backcountry skiing/boarding, etc. - We also have snow shoes and people who are willing to teach others - Please please let us know as soon as you can if you are planning on going! T-shirts are underway, and maybe hats too. Adam has been working on a design for hats, if you have any suggestions please let us know. I (Rebecca) am looking into prices, which may depend on how much print you have (like putting custom name or quote on). Chad Ward is coming to talk to us about avalanches, safety, tips, etc. next week. He is the Assistant Director of Outdoor Rec and is a former NOLS instructor, so he knows his stuff.
