Subject: ISU Mountaineering and Climbing Club Minutes

Hey everybody!

We had a great meeting last night, learned a lot of knots, hitches, and
back-ups. Anyhoo, next Monday's meeting will be a little earlier because we
need light for the keg drop.  We'll be doing the keg drop at Brookside Park
(directions to the park are on our website) at 6:00pm. So we'll probably be
setting up around 5:30pm, keg drop at 6, and right afterward, we'll siet up
a grill, so bring your grill-ables, sides, desserts, whatever you want to
eat. We will probably also have a slackline set up.

On another note, Tomorrow is WEDNESDAY! Which means Wal-Nut Creek Climbing.
Eric, Dan, and I are for sure going tomorrow night, so if you need a ride
give one of us a call. I'll add our numbers to the bottom of this e-mail.
There are also driving directions to Wal-Nut on our website.

We also covered some trip information:
 -October 2-4 is the Redwing trip, there will be a pre-trip meeting next
  Monday after the meeting. You need to have all of your forms filled out and
  the trip ($35) money is due.
 -Stratford Thursday: Bob will no be able to go to Stratford this Thursday,
  so unless someone else volunteers to lead it, Stratford is cancelled this
  Thursday.
     ** As a side note, make sure we clean up after ourselves at each
        climbing site we go to. Pack it in, Pack it out :0)
 -Leader Training Trip is this weekend. We will meet at 2:30pm at Beyer and
  be leaving at 3pm. If you have any questions, the trip leader is Eric
  Redmond, so send him an e-mail or give him a call with your questions.
