Hey everybody!

So this past meeting was more of a bunch of information stuff. Anyhoo this
is what we covered:

1.Canceled Trip:
Well, so kind of a bummer that last weekend's trip was canceled. Boo on the
rain/snow! Anyhoo, the trip will not be rescheduled as this coming weekend
will probably see snow up in Redwing. Those of you that paid for the
cancelled trip can either choose to put that payment towards your dues or to
another trip. You also have first dibs on the upcoming Missouri Trip on
October 24-25.  Please let Brett know what you would like to be done with
your trip payment.

2. Upcoming Missouri Trip (October 24-25)
If you would like to go on this trip please bring your deposit of $15 or the
full payment of $35 to the next meeting.

3. Thanksgiving Trip (November 20-24/5) to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, Arkansas
Hey this is a great trip for all climber ability. It's pretty much all sport
routes and it's a warmer! If you're interested, let us know at the next
meeting. The trip is going to cost about $65.

4. Sandstone Ice Fest (wkend before finals)
FINALLY it's almost ice season! Sandstone Ice Fest is in Sandstone, MN. If
you're interested in ice climbing, there are some great clinics at the Fest.
The trip is a little more expensive than our other trips, $45, but it is
well worth it! Keep it in mind and if you're interested, again let us know
at the meeting.

5. Upcoming Meetings
We want YOUR imput! AS creative as our execs are, we've kind of run out of
ideas for meeting topics. We have a few ideas still up our sleeves, but if
you have an idea or have something you want to know, or learn about, or even
review, let us know! Some upcoming meeting topics are: Safety/First Aid next
week, Nov 9 is yoga, As soon as the snow hits, we can do avalanche beacon
training, tyrolean traverse, Nutrition guest speaker, and Ash from WalNut
will be a guest speaker.
