ISUMCC Minutes

Hello climbers, people of the hills, of the ice-axe, the chalk, the wall, the
stone, the rock.

This is Eric, your secretary for those of you who don't know me.  If you are
new, welcome to the club, for all the rest of you, hello.  During Monday's
meeting we announced that elections will be held at the next meeting, the 19th
I believe.  Positions available are vice president and SCC representative.  Our
former vice president and trip leader extraordinare, John Kassie, has moved
away for the semester.  If you are interested in either of the positions you
must show up or let one of us know that you would like to run if you cant make
it.  Also, if you weren't at the meeting good news, Brendan has returned from
his semester at NOLS.

Ok, right, trips...

Right now there aren't any outdoor trips scheduled, but that doesn't mean that
there wont be some in the near future.  Ice climbing season is at hand, so keep
posted for announcements about trips.

We are going to the Ibex climbing gym on February 1st, which I believe is a
saturday.  If you've never been there it is definately worth the trip.  I think
they have a 43 ft wall plus cool bouldering area.

The Annual UNI Climbing Comp. will be here before we know it, specially if I
don't find out more about it.  It usually happens sometime in late Feb./early
March.  I'll probably know more about this later, probably.

So I was talking to this goat, and he was like "Hey man" and I was like "hey
goat."
