At the meeting last night we had a presentation done by Steve Holland. It was pretty neato. It showed us how we can look up maps for when you plan out climbing trips and other fun excursions. He even showed us how to drive a car up sheer embankments on topographical maps. On other news we have decided to have the thanksgiving trip at Shelf Road Colorado. There will be the possibility of an abundance of climbing, bouldering, and hiking. T- shirt designs are also going to be voted on next Monday the 8th at the meeting. If you have an awesome design please bring it! Sunday the 14th we will be having... YOGA OMG! It took awhile but it got set up. The lovely Stephanie will be teaching us the far eastern art of pulling yourself into a pretzel (very good for climbing flexibility). I don't yet know the time for this but we will have it VERY soon. There is also talk of there being a film festival Saturday the 13th. Steve Holland showed us the intro to the festival and it was more than breathtaking... it was boweltaking (that a word?). It will be in Minn. and cost $24 bucks but it looks to be more than worth it. Contact Steve Holland at sdh4@iastate.edu. Well go vote, do some homework (if need be), and party since no more election propaganda!!! Tienes un buenos Dia de los minutos por favor! (probably bad translation :( Tim Anderson
