Hola all!

we had a great turnout at monday's meeting, good to see so many faces show
up! Next week's meeting is going to be at Leid Rec Center, normal time 8pm.
We'll be showing everyone the art of lead climbing and lead belaying. It's a
lot of fun to do, and with a leader like Shaun you'll be able to learn a
lot. Afterwards we can stay after to climb, and anyone who wants to learn
how to belay or practice knots will have the chance to do so.

Recap of monday's announcements:
-dues are $25 for the semester and $40 for the year
-Benefits of club membership include 10% off climbing gear at Jax, Leid club
climbing hours sundays at 8, Wallnut climbing discount, availability of all
club gear, club climbing trips, and lots of really cool people to hang out
with :)
-If you're interested in going on a day trip to redwing this sunday, email
me back
-there will be another club trip going out early october, I believe the
dates are oct 14-16 and will be led by Ryan McNair, email Ryan for more info
