Icefest
Date: Dec 7, 8, and 9th
Location: Sandstone, MN
Icefest is coming up real soon.  It is a major/fun event to go ice climb, meet
new people, learn new things at awesome clinics, and fireworks! It is $60.00
to go and that includes your hotel.  If you would like to go, please get a
hold of Brandon asap.

American Bouldering Series Competition!
This Saturday December 1st at the Iowa State Lied Rec Center.  Come to compete
or just to watch others climb.

We are looking for four new execs for next semester.  So, if you are
interested look at the descriptions on the ISU MCC website. The followings
positions will need to be filled:

Trip Coordinator
SCC Rep
Social Chair
Secretary

Tonight we got ready for the ice climbing season by learning about ice
climbing basics which included the different types of ice axes, crampons,
ropes, and ice screws.

Next week we are planning an ISU MCC social for dead week.  An e-mail will be
sent out later this week.

Climbing at Wall-Nut Creek
Wednesday, November 28
7:00 - 9:00 pm
Come out to Wall-Nut Creek and climb with the climbing club from 7-9 pm.
Wall-Nut Creek is located 6 miles south of Ames on University
Blvd/530 Ave.

Climb with the Club
Club climbing time at Lied is this Sunday from 7-9 pm
