Matt Cvijanovich

Matt was a veteran of our quiz bowl team, having graduated as our president. He passed away on January 2nd, 2005. His family has been very gracious in donating a memorial fund to our team so that we may host this tournament. They have their own biographical page for Matt.

Location

The competition will take place in Carver Hall and Pearson Hall at Iowa State University in the city of Ames, Iowa. A second, nearby building to Carver Hall is necessary this year due to the unavailability of adequate space in the first building. Registration and the meetings will be held in Carver 0101, the first floor auditorium in the center of the edifice.

Parking

If the team is coming by car or similar small passenger vehicle, vacancy is nearly guaranteed in Lot 3. Conversely, it is safe to park anywhere that is not explicitly denoted as reserved 24/7. Meters and permits are not enforced on weekends. Parking lots in the general vicinity of Carver are shown on this map. For those teams coming by bus, students may be dropped off at a location near Carver, and buses are to be parked in the Iowa State Center lots.
