Everybody needs to fill out the Medical/Insurance Form and the Waiver in order to play with us. Bring these down with you next time you come to club. Remember, there is no obligation to join after filling these out. We just need these incase you get hurt. Thanks for your cooperation!
Club has decided to pay for the Rockwell Collins Winter Rollout tournament on December 7-8 in Cedar Rapids, IA for those members who have paid dues. Here is the entry form. Let me know ASAP if you are interested in going AND GET YOUR DUES IN!!

FINALLY!! The 2nd annual Cyclone Racquet for a Cure has come and gone once again and we raised $485 (second year in a row) for the Susan G. Komen foundation! The O3 Pink was silent auctioned off for a generous $180. Results are up and we look forward to the upcoming tournaments!!
I have started a shared calender on Google Calenders for this year's ISU Racquetball tournament schedule. If you know of any tournaments be sure to let me know so that I can add it to the calender. If you want to know how to add it to your GoogleCalender, let me know and I can help you out.
Here is the entry form for the Rumble in the Box in Cedar Rapids on October 19-20. If you plan on attending this tournament let me know. There are lots of people who have places to stay so we can probably hook you up.

We have wrapped up most of the preparation for the Racquet for a Cure touranment scheduled for October 5-6. Now we just need YOU to sign up. Here is the entry form and the tournament flyer. If you would kindly print out a few copies of the flyer and post it around places you go on campus, this is bound to get us a few extra participants.
If you are new to the sport and worried about playing in a racquetball tournament, don't be. We will have a division specifically for beginners
Lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday as well as beverages throughout the entire tournament.
The tournament is approaching quickly, so get your entry forms into me.
Planning has been taken up a notch for the Racquet for a Cure tournament. As many of you know, we started this annual tournament last year to raise awareness for both our club on campus and breast cancer. This year we will be hosting this tournament October 5-7 at the Lied Recreational Athletic Center. Bryan Crosser and Ektelon have really stepped up and is really helping us out with this tournament. Ektelon is our official racquetball sponsor for this tournament. They are again providing us with their fireball and they even donated their breast cancer racquet, a Pink O3, to silent auction off. This racquet retails for $199 and last year we received $185 from David Wright, all of which was donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
This year Ektelon wants to take our puny little tournament to the next level. We are currently looking into getting Rhonda to attend our weekend event along with a much made over open division. Make sure you mark off this weekend in your calender and don't make any other plans. We conveniently scheduled this on away game weekends for all three major collegiate football games. I will get flier and entry form up as soon as we know if Rhonda is attending. E-mail me (wright.casey@gmail.com) if you can post a flier at your local recreational facility so we can start getting people signed up!
There is a tournament in Cedar Rapids scheduled for October 19-20 at the Helen G Nassif YMCA. We'll have the entry form as soon as they get it to me. More coming in the near future.

The Iowa Games racquetball tournament is coming up in a few weeks. Snail mail registration needs to be postmarked by 6/27 and online registration can be completed anytime until 7/2. It's one heck of a deal. For $15 you get 2 events and a T-shirt. More information can be found at:

Our Racquet for a Cure charity tournament is tentatively scheduled for October 6-8 so mark it on your calenders and clear your schedules. Half of all entry fees and all donations will be donated to the Susan G Komen fore the Cure foundation. We are currently looking for sponsors for this event so if you know of anyone who may be interested be sure to have them contact wright.casey@gmail.com. More information about this coming in the future.
Alot has happened at ISU racquetball in the last few weeks. We've had the ballbuster, a week for spring break, and a trip to Arizona for Intercollegiate Nationals. Check out the Results and Pictures pages for more!!
We placed 10th among all Division I schools in the nation! Things are looking up for next year as our club continues to grow in popularity and skill. There is a lot of information in the Results and Pictures sections so be sure to check those out.
