Story County Amateur Radio Club, meets on the first Thursday of each month at the 4-H building on the southwest corner of 13th Street and Stange Road in Ames . Meetings start at around 7:30 PM. Talk in on the 147.240+ repeater.

Central Iowa Radio Amateur Society, meets at the Bonanza Steakhouse in Marshalltown on South Center Street (front of Walmart parking lot). Eating begins around 7:00 with the meeting following at 7:30 p.m. Talk in on 147.135+ Repeater (CTCSS 141.3 Hz).

Boone Amateur Radio Klub, meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM, talk in on the 146.850- repeater.
