CARC Repeater Usage Guidelines

While the CARC repeaters and autopatch are available to all licensed amateurs for normal amateur radio communications, users are expected to use the system in a professional, courteous manor.  In addition to following all FCC rules, the CARC repeaters and autopatch are not to be used for personal business, conversations of poor taste or for harassment.  All autopatch calls should be kept brief to allow others to use the repeater.

The CARC club advisor and repeater trustee, Skip Walter, ADØH, email: cwalter (@iastate.edu) has the final say on proper usage of the CARC repeaters and autopatch and may, on rare occasions, request a user to restrain using the repeater and autopatch.

System use priority first goes to emergency traffic of any type (including emergency autopatch), organized net operation, normal amateur radio communications, then non-emergency autopatch usage.
