Thank you for your letters explaining your concern about the housing policies at ISU.  I understand your feelings about staying in a place that you have come to enjoy.

The Department of Residence is not a government body.  I have no more influence over their policies than you do, in fact, you probably have more because they depend on your check to stay in business.

My suggestion is a huge petition asking them to change their policies or to be more flexible in implementing these policies.  500 signatures of students asking for the same thing would be very powerful.   Good Luck.
