Kaleidoquiz (KQ)

DON'T PLAN ON GOING HOME DURING KQ WEEKEND!  Bring your computers to the parlor for 26 hours of quality Barker bonding time!

KQ is a 26-hour trivia marathon.  Donning an original name such as "Crispy Crow Crispitos on a Stick" or "Mr. Alexander's Sticky Illegitimate Children", Barker House competes against other residence halls and collections of students (namely, Harwood and Fairchild Houses) in order to win big prizes.

Held during mid-Spring semester, KQ is not your ordinary trivia marathon, however.  With questions about American Gladiators and the oldest house in Ames, and state-wide scavenger hunts requiring a casino chip from Osceola, a tennis ball from Shenandoah, and a cocktail napkin from a pizza joint in Cedar Rapids, the event is a conglomeration of lots of fun and little to no sleep.  Many Barker alumni (namely Kloppy) come back for the weekend to participate in the antics.
