COWBOY BALL
A yearly event held during spring semester that includes a banquet, auction, and presentation of awards. It's all followed by a dance (including line dancing) for a full evening of fun! Click here for pictures from the event.

 CYCLONE STAMPEDE
Sanctioned by the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) and attracting top cowboy and cowgirls throughout the Great Plains, the Stampede is a two-day affair every year in October. It is hosted at the Cyclone Stampede Arena two miles south of campus on State Avenue. Points earned at this event help participants on their way to the College National Rodeo Finals at Bozeman, Montana in June.
Photos from previous years' Iowa State Cyclone Stampedes may be found on the Howard Sears Professional Rodeo Photography website.

VEISHEA
The rodeo club operates the mechanical bull at the Lagomarcino Hall courtyard during VEISHEA.

MECHANICAL BULL EVENTS
The mechanical bull is out to pasture. Soon he'll be back so you can get the mechanical bull at your event! People of all sorts love getting a chance to experience bull riding. Email Mikayla at mikaylam@iastate.edu or rodeoclubexec@iastate.edu for details.
