Collective Learning Initiative
With an aim to educate the members, SANKALP has taken up a collective learning initiative (CLI). The purpose of the initiative is to encourage SANKALPites to understand the development issues in a global perspective and apply the lessons learned to the projects they undertake in India. A series of lectures by faculty members at Iowa State University and subsequent discussions on the topics form an integral part of the learning process. We have also invited students who visited India during Summer 2004 as part of Study Abroad program to discuss their experiences. All students and faculty are welcome to attend these lectures and take part in the discussions.
