Thai Cultural Night is an event held to share authentic Thai culture and traditions. During the event, we will present splendid Thai displays, performances, and authentic food.

Sunday February 11th, 2007 5:00PM to 8:00PM At Great Hall, Memorial Union, Iowa State University

5:00PM Door open for reception

  • Food (served through the buffet dinner):
    • Appetizer - Shrimp flavored chips
    • Drink - Thai tea
  • Displays:
    • 6 displays on Thai culture and religion
    • 2 booths - craft shows
  • Dining the Thai Way, food eating demonstration

6:00PM Buffet dinner

  • Menu:
    • Steam rice
    • Pork larb
    • Basil chicken with bamboo shoot
    • Tofu curry (vegetarian)
    • Tom Kha Kai (chicken) soup
    • Dessert - tapioca pearl with cantaloupe

7:00PM - 8:00PM Performance

  • Blessing Dance
  • Kratip Dance
  • Muay Thai
  • Swords Dance

No tickets will be sold at the door. Please purchase the tickets from the Thai representatives ahead of time
