Over the past four years, Theta Delta Chi has installed a new attitude within its doors. As a house, we have quickly established ourselves, not only within the Greek community, but also on campus and within the Ames community as well. The size of our house may not be large, but we value the personal relationships that are created within our walls. We believe that with our smaller numbers that we are able to know each other on a more personal level, thereby enriching the experience of living within a fraternity and getting the most out of that experience.

On the ISU campus, Theta Delta Chi men are known as the Thumpers. This nickname developed from the famous Theta Delt Alumni, Frank Thomas, who animated Walt Disney's Thumper in the movie Bambi.

Our members are involved all over campus. We are involved in IFC Executive Council, Freshman Council, Numerous Student Groups, Club Team Sports, F.F.A., ROTC, and Student Run Newspapers
