The Iowa State University Turf Club is affiliated with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. Our purpose is to provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop a broader knowledge of the field, and develop networking skills.

Club activities include regular meetings with featured discussion topics and guest speakers, and prepararation for future events and fundraisers. Club members also take annual trips to the GCSAA National Industry Convention and the National Sports Turf Managers Association Conference, both of which are held in various cities around the United States. Our goal, through fundraising, is to provide airfare and hotel accomadations to members who are actively involved.
