About ISUC

Iowa State University is located in Ames, IA about 30 miles north of Des Moines. Ames has a population of approximately 25,000, roughly equivalent to the student body size. Hence, the university plays a big part in Ames living and politics.

Iowa State is well known for its programs in engineering, agriculture, and veterinary medicine. If you want to learn more about Iowa State University, feel free to visit the ISU webpage.

The school mascot is Cy, the Cyclone, but for proprietary reasons, the university does not allow our club to use Cy on t-shirts, discs, etc. without paying royalties on any profits. We have modified the "old" ISU bird for our purposes, and it is good.

We are both a competitive team that travels to compete in tournamants around the country as well as an Iowa State club looking for as many participants as possible. We welcome all players of any skill level. Come to one of our practices to learn more about us.
