Either when I blocked a huck from an IHUC player with my face at Exit 69 or the time I got a layout D and simultaneously macked the disc to Scott Wagner for a Callahan at Glory Days.  Spring break as a whole was also really amazing.  Oh man, and Whirly Ball champions…  you know, the whole damn year was a rush.

Years playing ultimate: 8
Nickname: ShimSham Shackadoo
Desired Superpower: Extremely good at saving whales
Favorite ISUC moment: Beasterns, Spring Break 2003. vs UNC Wilmington in the finals... after heated arguments with the evil tyrant and coach Mike Gerics, after being taunted and ridiculed for calling fouls, and generally being jerked around, ISUC found itself with a chance for the win and the entire crowd behind them. A long huck from Jason Saienga goes down to our favorite target, Kevin Seiler..... the players go up, the disc deflected, and the darkhorse comes riding up with the save.. Owen "O-bot the Woman Destroyer" Watkins grabs the deflected disc, and gives a quick toss in the end zone to a wide open Seiler. Iowa State's first ever tourney win, first undefeated tournament (9-0!) and the reason that whenever the Flaming Lips' Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pt II is played, ISUCers from that generation get a big smile on their faces.....
Jane Austen or Virginia Woolf: Jane Austen - that's Dr. Quinn, right?
