Food at First is a local program that provides meals free of charge to Ames residents at the First United Methodist Church free of charge, no questions asked. SVS helps serve lunch on one Saturday each month. Each of these opportunities is split into shifts consisting of set-up & meal preparation (10-11:30) and serving & clean-up (11:15-12:45).
