Halloween at the Y is an annual event held in Memorial Union
and is free and open to the public.A variety of student organizations across campus create booths for which the families can visit,
play games, work on crafts, and have fun! The night is capped off with “Greek Trick-or-Treat” where families can walk through
sorority circle to receive candy, goodies, as well enjoy the decorations and costumes that the Greek provide.
U-TH Tri It is for all youth who would like a chance to compete in a triathlon and experience the thrill of the sport. The Ames Area Triathlon or Multi-Sport Club hosts a youth triathlon in conjunction with the Ames ISU-YMCA.
The Giving Tree program is a joint effort between the Faculty Senate and the Ames ISU-YMCA that supports over 70 area children in need of family support services over the holidays.
