Membership Qualifications Every chemical engineering graduate student is automatically an inactive member of CEGSO. Participation in CEGSO activities and payment of dues moves a person's membership to active status for the academic term. Students that are not graduate Chemical Engineering majors may participate in CEGSO activities but cannot become CEGSO members, do not have voting rights and privileges, and may not hold offices or committee positions.
Membership Restrictions Graduate student, majoring in ChBE or a minor in ChBE
Elections/Selection Election for officer positions takes place in the beginning of the Fall semester, annually.
Meetings Officers hold weekly meetings. Social events occur approximately once a month. Officers request member input once a semester through the use of a survey

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Bimonthly business meetings to discuss upcoming events. Biweekly social events to stimulate departmental collaboration and networking.
