Purpose is to promote the scholastic, professional and social development of the graduate students in the Dept of Economics, to foster better communication between, and to represent students in departmental and university affairs.

Elections are held near the beginning of each spring semester. Nominations are solicited from the outgoing officers and then all Economics Department graduate students are invited to vote on the nominee of their choice. |

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| Meetings and activities are arranged by the officers of the club. Notification of meetings and activities are sent out over email using the Economics Department graduate student email list. |
Description of Special Events
| Basically, there will be a picnic and a Friday after class party held each semester. And also, the officers of the club can organize some beneficial activities that they think is appropriate. |
