The purpose of the Algorithmic Trading Club (ATC) at Iowa State University is to provide a collaborative environment where students can explore, develop, and apply algorithmic trading strategies. The club aims to: 1. Foster an understanding of algorithmic trading concepts, financial markets, and quantitative methods. 2. Offer hands-on opportunities for members to develop trading algorithms and conduct simulated trading activities. 3. Facilitate learning through workshops, guest lectures, and collaborative projects. 4. Promote ethical practices in algorithmic trading and compliance with relevant regulations. 5. Build a community of like-minded individuals interested in financial technology, data analytics, and trading systems.
