This club is dedicated to growing a healthy community of Magic: The Gathering players at Iowa State. We seek to foster and cater to new and old players in a healthy environment. Our mission is to promote casual and competitive card gaming in a positive, inclusive, and diverse community.

Regular Meeting: Announcements Discussions on what's happening in the Magic community Playing Magic Teaching new players

Description of Special Events

Draft nights: Club members create 40 card decks from booster packs to play against one another.
Travel to Magic events in Iowa: Club members will attend official Wizards of the Coast events to learn more about the hobby and gain experience.
Cube nights: Free event! Club members draft a preexisting pool of cards to learn more about the history of the game and the diverse interactions between cards. Cube nights are aimed to include all players old and new.
Commander/EDH nights: The fastest growing format takes over our club meeting! Players battle it out with 100 card decks. Welcome to any and all!
New Player Night: Welcome to the fold, players are provided with a pre-constructed deck and taught how to play the game! If you have experience, other players will teach you how to play formats with which you may not be familiar. Welcome to any and all!
