Description

The purpose of Polonia: Polish Student Association is to gather undergraduate and graduate students at the Iowa State University who are native Polish speakers, individuals of Polish heritage, and those interested in learning about and interacting with the Polish culture. To achieve these goals, Polonia: PSA will host monthly general meetings and organize multiple events that emphasize Polish culture in a fun, interactive, and welcoming manner.

Elections/Selection Members of the club will vote yearly on who they select but will ultimately be to officers discrepancy who is elected.
Meetings General Body Meetings will be held once a month, with 2-3 events and socials in between.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Polonia: PSA participates in activities sponsored by the International Student Council, including but not limited to cultural showcases, dances, and recreational events. Polonia: PSA also hosts regular monthly programming aligned with Polish cultural holidays and traditions.

Description of Special Events

Polonia: PSA kicks off the year with a lively welcome-back grill out in early fall and wraps it up with a celebratory end-of-year grill out in the spring, bringing members together for great Polish food, music, and community.
The organization also hosts its annual Bal Studencki, a highlight event featuring an unforgettable night of more Polish music, dancing, and celebration.
