Description
Stats Club is an Undergraduate Statistics Club at Iowa State University whose purpose is to show students( with any experience level) how numbers connect with curiosity, creativity, and community! Whether you are in a major that utilizes statistics or just curious about how data shapes the world around us, this club is for you! Statistics is often known as collecting, interpreting, analyzing, and presenting data across various disciplines such as business, healthcare, engineering, sports, environmental science, social sciences, etc. But beyond that, it can be used to uncover, share, and tell stories that help make a difference! Through events like guest speakers, social events, career exploration, and workshops, Stats Club aims to help and support students' experiences and give them opportunities to grow!
