Annually, our organization designs, manufactures, tunes, and competes vehicles as five separate teams - Aero, Baja, Clean Snowmobile, Formula, and Supermileage. We also have many opportunities to attend national automotive trade shows, listen to technical speakers about new developments in the automotive field, and provide many career opportunities to dedicated members.

Constitution / Tier
||Membership in SAE International Student Chapter shall be open to all registered students at Iowa State, as well as its faculty and staff. This ISU chapter is also open to non-ISU students in accordance with SAE International rules.
||Officers and advisors will be elected annually by a majority vote of the general membership population. Elections will take place at the last general meeting of the Spring semester. A term of office begins in May following the conclusion of the Spring semester and ends at the conclusion of the following Spring semester following the next election.
||The meeting schedule and location for each team and the organization will be released at the beginning of the Fall semester via email to members.
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
|Formula has weekly General meetings Thursdays at 7pm, Baja has weekly General meetings at 7:30, and Supermileage has biweekly meetings at 6pm on Tuesdays. Team leaders update members and present on their subsystems at this time.
Tuesday evening, Thursday evening, Friday evenings and Saturdays members work in the office, Nuclear Engineering 208, or the shop, Nuclear Engineering 110.
SAE International sells pizza Tuesdays from 11am to 1pm in the Hoover Hall Atrium.

|SAE International will be selling pizza on Tuesdays in the Hoover Hall Atrium at the following prices: $4.00 for 2 slices and pop/water, $2.00 for 1 slice, and $0.50 for a pop, $12/pizza.
