Music & Performing Arts


This group has weekly meetings that centers on learning, sharing, and refining tap and rhythmic dance skills. The membership is open to all Iowa State students who are interested in learning tap and other rhythmic dance. No previous experience is necessary. You have the opportunity to perform with the group during the Orchesis II semester showcase if you are willing to make the commitment. Meetings are held in the Forker Building room 198 on Tuesday from 8:30 - 9:00 PM.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Meetings occur every Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 P.M. to develop a piece as a group.

Description of Special Events

Throughout the semester, Tap Club works on a piece for the end-of-the-semester showcase hosted by Orchesis II, the 'sister club' to Tap Iowa State. If students chose, they may participate in this showcase, which is highly encouraged!
