STARS (STudent Admissions RepresentativeS) is an exciting volunteer group that works with the Admissions Office. The group works to present a positive, realistic student view of Iowa State University to prospective students and parents. The group's members are a prime example of the diverse student body that attends Iowa State University.

Membership Qualifications |
The organization's members are selected through an interactive interview process and if selected take part in a high energy, fast pace environment that allows them to showcase their talents, communication skills, and love of Iowa State. |

Undergraduate students only.
Must have 2.5 GPA or higher. |

Elections once a year in April. |

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
STARS (Student Admissions Representative) - is an exciting volunteer student organization that works within the Office of Admissions. The STARS work to present a positive, realistic student view of Iowa State University to prospective students and parents. The STARS provide tours and host recruitment events for the Office of Admissions. The meetings are informative and fun ways to learn more about Iowa State and to facilitate STARS business. |
Description of Special Events
All STARS Retreats are held at the beginning of each semester. |
A retreat is held for new STARS at the beginning of each semester. |
Meetings are held twice monthly. |
