Some of our campus initiatives include Spring into ExerCYse, CYdekicks (a peer mentoring program to help students stay healthy), finalizing a partnership with Thielen Student Health Center, and club social events. Exercise is Medicine on Campus at ISU seeks to encourage everyone in the Iowa State community to further enjoy their experience at ISU by living healthy lives and staying active. This helps build the foundation for a lifetime of wellness.

Exercise is Medicine and Student Wellness at ISU have recently introduced the new CYde Kicks program. The CYde Kicks program will match new ISU students to peer mentors who have been trained in motivational interviewing. CYde Kicks help their mentees learn about a variety of health and wellness resources at Iowa State University and encourage healthy lifestyle choices and behavior change. Staying healthy while adjusting to college life can be difficult, but your CYde Kick will help you get through it! For more information, please reach out to us at exercyse@iastate.edu.
