Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
The ISBA Club holds weekly meetings in which company representatives present current IT/BA projects being undertaken within their organizations. Each club meeting is catered with local cuisine (Papa Johns, Chick-fil-A, etc.) Any student of any major is welcome to attend any meeting for free. |
Description of Special Events
Each semester we hold the Fin+Tech Night the night before the Business Career Fair. At this event, ~40 companies seeking IT interns and full-time hires attend to form a mini career fair, providing an excellent opportunity for students to network with recruiters in a more relaxed setting.
In addition, the ISBA Club hosts a semi-annual club field trip. On these field trips, companies open their doors to the members of the ISBA Club, after which we have a more informal club social in the trip city. This is yet another great networking opportunity for members. |
