Welcome to Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia!
Founded in 1898 with the purpose of promoting sociability and the best and truest fraternal spirit, ΦΜΑ Sinfonia is the oldest and largest secret fraternal society in music in the world. Banded together by our common goal of building men of the highest type, Sinfonians across the country seek to win the world to Harmony through its noble Object:
The Object of this Fraternity shall be for the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit; the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students; the advancement of music in America; and a loyalty to the Alma Mater.
Chartered on December 17, 1922, the Alpha Delta Chapter is celebrating our centennial this school year.

Article 1, Section 4 Regarding National Constitution and Bylaws, Title I, Article I, Section Two, it is the interpretation of the National Executive Committee that any individual who identifies consistently and in good faith as a man is eligible for status as a probationary member and initiation. This policy upholds the Fraternity’s mission as a brotherhood of men and maintains the all-male character of the fraternity; it should not be interpreted as a waiver of the Fraternity’s exempt status under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.
