To promote interest and knowledge in the sport of sailing and other wind sports among students, faculty and staff at ISU. To extend the sailing season on campus from a one season sport to a year-round sport via land yachts, ice boats and other equipment. To provide sailors of all skill and experience levels with opportunities to sail for fun, to practice their sailing skills and gain knowledge.
