General meetings will be held weekly on Thursdays at 6 pm in Carver Hall 205. Executive meetings will be held monthly and on an as-needed basis. |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
General meetings will follow one of three focuses: professional development, community-building, or philanthropy. General meetings could also be a combination of these focuses. Professional Development meetings could be LinkedIn workshops, resume reviews, career fair preparation, and travel for the national convention and regional conference. Community building meetings could be a cultural night, game night, and field day. Philanthropic meetings could be volunteering with Reiman Gardens, Ames Annual Tree Planting, FIRST Iowa Build Days, and attending blood drives. |
Description of Special Events
SASE will host an annual End-of-the-year Banquet held in April, where students can network with companies and enjoy food and guest speakers. |
