Membership Qualifications Every chemical engineering graduate student is automatically an inactive member of CEGSO. Participation in CEGSO activities and payment of dues moves a person's membership to active status for the academic term. Students that are not graduate Chemical Engineering majors may participate in CEGSO activities but cannot become CEGSO members, do not have voting rights and privileges, and may not hold offices or committee positions.
Membership Restrictions Graduate student, majoring in ChBE or a minor in ChBE
Elections/Selection Election for officer positions takes place in the beginning of the Fall semester, annually.
Meetings Meetings will be held through out the year. Usually we have 2 meetings in a semester, apart from social events.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Bimonthly business meetings to discuss upcoming events. Biweekly social events to stimulate departmental collaboration and networking.

Description of Special Events

ISU/KU Tailgate - Tailgate the football game in collaboration with AIChE.
Kickball event - Chemical Engineering grad students face off against the psychology department for an intense kickball matchup
