The Iowa State Investment Group was created to provide an opportunity for students from all backgrounds to learn investment processes. Through the management of Iowa State's $280,000 portfolio, members will have an educational opportunity to explore the field of finance and investments. Members will strengthen financial analysis, industry and market research, leadership, technical, and public speaking skills through active participation in this student-run organization. Additionally, we will look to sharpen skills by leanring tools such as Bloomberg Terminal, MorningStar Research, and The Wall Street Journal. 

We meet on Thursdays at 6:30 PM in the Gerdin Business Building in Room 1148 or 0129 throughout the semester (Look for the email to see details). Our first meeting of the Spring 2025 semester will be on Thursday, September 11th in Gerdin 1148.
